We have developed Xcruciate with our own interests in mind, but we think the approach we have adopted could be interesting and useful to others too. We also think that there is wisdom in many counsellors (especially if the counsel arrives in the form of code patches). So we hope that you will use Xcruciate for your own purposes, that you will give us feedback, and that maybe you will be able to help us to continue to develop it.
The first step is to try running the code. If you are interested in keeping up with the very latest versions, you may want to consider getting the code using subversion.
There are various mailing lists you can subscribe to, depending on your level of interest. Some are low-volume announcement lists, some will inform you of every change in the code base, and others are the place to ask for help or discuss the development of the project.
You can log and track bugs using bugzilla. This is a better place for bug reports than the mailing lists.
You may wish to contribute some code. whether it's a small bug patch, a new feature for one of the existing Xcruciate applications or even a complete, new Xcruciate application, all contributions are appreciated.
Finally, you may be in a position to contribute financially to the project. Donations will be used to fund development that we cannot justify directly on the basis of commercial contracts.
